My family keeps running out of hot water. Do we need a bigger tank or a new system entirely?

Often the original water heater was undersized for the household. An assessment of actual usage helps determine whether a larger tank or a tankless system is the better fit.

Water heater installation in Randolph, NJ

Q: How much does water heater installation cost in Randolph?

Cost depends on unit size, type, and any additional gas, venting, or electrical work needed. A clear quote is provided after an in-home assessment.

Q: Is tankless worth it for a larger household?

Often yes, particularly when multiple bathrooms are used at the same time, since tankless systems remove the capacity limit that causes cold showers.

Q: How long does installation take?

Most residential installations, tankless or traditional, are completed in a single visit.

Q: Are you licensed to work in Randolph, NJ?

Yes, Zeek Plumbing holds New Jersey plumbing contractor's license number 11873 and is fully insured for residential work throughout Randolph and Morris County.

Additional Tips for Boiler Maintenance in Randolph

Randolph's local team for water heater installation

If you're dealing with a water heater in Randolph that can't keep up anymore, or one that's started leaking, Zeek Plumbing can help with expert water heater installation, water heater repair, and full water heater replacement services.

Randolph has a lot of larger colonials and split-level homes with multiple bathrooms, and it's common for a household to outgrow its original water heater long before the unit actually fails. If you're constantly waiting for hot water to come back after someone else showers, that's usually a sizing problem, not a sign your plumbing is broken. We size new installations around your actual household, not the smallest unit that technically fits the space.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was referred to Zeek by a relative who is also a contractor for multiple plumbing issues at my home. (leaking bathtub drain and overflow pipe plus associated plumbing; leaking waste line from kitchen down to basement; replace hot water heater shut off valve; replace house water supply valve coming in from the street.) Tim and his helper (sorry don't remember helper's name) were polite and professional and worked hard until the job was finished. Everything was left neat and clean. Zeek will be on speed dial for any future plumbing issues. Highly reccomend.

Edited to add: As it turns out, a couple of weeks after the prior excellent work done by Zeek at my home, I had another different plumbing issue come up (what can I say? the house isn't brand new). The water supply bibs for our washing machine were shot and needed replacement. I contacted Zeek this morning and they sent Bill & Cameron out and the job was finished by lunch time and the work and professionalism of the crew was excellent. I would give 10 stars but google won't let me LOL.

Second Edit: This week we decided to have some more work done by Zeek as repairs and preventative maintenance. Zeek scheduled us quickly. Numerous old frozen valves were cut out and/or replaced; hose bibbs front and rear were replaced; new basement utility sink faucet was installed; and a couple of other items.

Again I was very satisfied with the work and professionalism of the Zeek team.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Zeek was recommended by my son-in-law to repair a toilet leak and on another occasion to install a new water heater. From the first call to completing both jobs they were attentive, professional, very timely, and did a great job fixing our issues while keeping the work space clean. Highly recommended.
